The Great Barn, Higher Ashton

Higher Ashton is a tiny hamlet in the Devon countryside, 7 miles south west of Exeter. The Great Barn, originally built in the fifteenth century has been completely restored. Attractions in the area include the Canonteign Falls, and Haldon Forest Park, where there are cycle and walking trails. Exeter is only a short drive away, with major attractions including the Cathedral and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, walks along the River Exe, and there is also a large choice of shops.
