HEATHER EASTING ORGAN
The organs of the churches in Brompton Regis and Brushford were restored in 2014 by Michael Farley from Budleigh Salterton, a member of the Institute of British Organ Builders, and they are now fine instruments worthy of hearing.Brompton Regis’s instrument was built in 1872 and brought to the village in 1897 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. The Brushford organ was constructed by Bedwell & Sons of Cambridge in the early 20th Century. Comprising two manuals with eleven ranks of pipes, it is of exceptional quality.
Heather is taking up the position of Organ Scholar of Exeter Cathedral in September. Until recently she was a graduate Organ Scholar at Croydon Minster, where she worked with Director of Music Ronny Krippner.
